Hello. I'm back in South Africa.
Back in Pretoria after my aborted attempt to find a ground
transportation route north through Mozambique to Malawi, I spent another 9 days
seeing the sights I missed the first time and discussing flight options
with a very cooperative travel agent. Eventually, I opted for a short
flight from Johannesburg up to Lilongwe Malawi. The $350 fare seemed exorbitant
to me, but all the soft living has dulled my rampant wanderlust a bit and
I'm starting to feel anxious about heading back towards civilization.
